Artist Statement

My umbrella grew stronger during the toughest rainy days of my life.

Once the scars are inflicted, the scars do not go away. But I've learned how not to make scars again where the scars were.

At the same time, those scars taught me that I can feel the preciousness and happiness of the little things.

Performance

When I think of my rainy days, my body aches again.
But, rainy days made me who I am today and for that,
I also feel grateful.

Now the rain has stopped and the sunny weather is really happy.
The anxiety of not knowing when it will rain always haunts me.
I always have a hardened umbrella by my side, so it's okay to rain now.
